Introduction:

NitAl's x1-lane PCI Express Exercisers, introduced in June 2003 are used worldwide. The x4-lane products from NitAl have evolved from extensive feedback received from its x1 customer base. These products are based on a proprietary PCI Express(TM) add-in card with USB2.0 port for easy connectivity to a laptop.

PCIExBuilder(TM)-H254, Host-Exerciser acts as a PCI Express(TM) x4-lane Host and allows the user to plug-in a PCI Express(TM) endpoint. The user can generate controlled traffic using in-line editable scripts. The integrated Analyzer captures the traffic received from the PCI Express(TM) node under test and stores it in its onboard memory. With an easy to use GUI, users can observe the entire traffic across the PCI Express(TM) interface.

PCIExBuilder(TM)-D254, Device-Emulator acts as a PCI Express(TM) x4-lane endpoint that plugs into user's PCI Express(TM) host port. Users can program their PCI Express(TM) application RTL into the Xilinx Vertex II Pro device and start the system validation effort immediately.
