PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2004
Dreamfield Holdings (Pink Sheets: DRMH - News) announced today that it's lone subsidiary RMD Dance Inc. plans to begin work on the first video for their highly anticipated production of C and C Music Factory's Greatest hits album as early as this week and also announced an agreement has been signed with Essential Direct, www.essentialdirect.co.uk, one of the top dance music companies in the world, to distribute RMD's underground dance material exclusively in all European territories and non-exclusively in all World Territories. In other developments RMD Music will be featured live on XM Satellite Radio www.xmradio.com Channel 80 -The Move- on June 19th at midnight.
"The first video we will produce is for "Everybody Dance Now" (Sweat)." Says KC Flightt Executive Vice President of RMD Dance, Inc." The idea behind the video is to support the official release of the Maxi single in July with MTV Europe airplay as well as create yet another product to sell off of the project. Several distributors have already expressed interest in a full DVD album format as well as the traditional full length album which we hope to complete by the end of July at the latest."
RMD also announced it had signed the distribution deal with dance music giant Essential Direct Limited out of London to distribute their underground dance catalogue beginning with Let's Get Jazzy by KC Flightt. This record is KC Flightt's first release off of his upcoming album entitled "Who Killed KC Flightt". Essential Direct will be distributing RMD Dance's underground dance material exclusively in all European Territories and will be allowed to export material to other countries around the world on a non-exclusive basis.
"This deal took 4 months to finalize because of back and forth negotiations but it was well worth the wait," Says Giorgio Costonis, President of RMD Dance Inc. "We feel very fortunate to be doing business with a company such as Essential Direct. They are an extremely effective organization that has knowledge of our product and the history we bring to the table with the great KC Flightt. We could not be in better hands with this type of material. RMD will be paid in British Sterling Pounds for the Essential Deal, which is a great advantage due to the current exchange rate between the dollar and the pound. With all the deals which have been completed to date on the C and C project, it was important for us to secure market channels for our other product as well. Our next two goals are to first secure a domestic (US and Canada) distribution deal for our underground dance music and then get a similar deal for the C and C Music Factory Greatest Hits album here in America."
In other news RMD announced it will be featured on XM Satellite Radio live on the night of June 19th on Channel 80 -The Move- for 6 hours. The feature will include three continuous mix sets by RMD producer/deejays Cheyne Christian, Jamie Carr, and Jack Funk. "This is great promotion for us to be on XM like this," Says KC Flightt Executive Vice President. "The entire country will have the opportunity to hear some slamming mixes by our top Deejays which will include some yet to be released RMD material. We hope to announce soon that this will be a regular weekly show for our guys." XM Radio recently announced it has hit the 2 million subscribers number and counting.
