Molecular Imaging Corporation Replaces Competitor at Kaweah Delta Health Care District; California Hospital Cites Service as Reason for Change
Business Wire, June 17, 2004
SAN DIEGO -- Molecular Imaging Corporation ("MIC" or the "Company") (OTCBB: MLRI), a leading provider of molecular imaging services to healthcare entities in the U.S., announced that it has entered into an agreement with Kaweah Delta Health Care District, to provide Positron Emission Tomography ("PET") imaging services at its facility in the California Central Valley.
According to Mr. Gordon Ah Tye, Director, Imaging Services, for the Visalia, California hospital, and former President of the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators, "Molecular Imaging partnered with us fully. They are very customer focused."
Mr. Ah Tye added, "After working diligently on details preparing for us to bring PET services back on line with the sales representative, MIC brought in the balance of their team to help us start up. I was so impressed by the entire group of MIC representatives. Their software consultant delivered, installed, and provided applications for our radiologists the week prior to start-up, which gave our radiologists a sense of confidence about MIC and what we had in store. Everything on the software side went very smoothly, from fusion integration to connecting to our internal system. As a final detail, MIC even brought in their scheduling specialist, who worked directly with our clerical staff to set up guidelines as to what to expect from MIC and what needed to be done from their perspectives.
"Needless to say, I have been very impressed with MIC's staff and their ability to deliver the services we needed. After six weeks, we greatly exceeded the start up volumes that we had projected, and our referring physicians and radiologists are extremely pleased with the quality, expertise, and professionalism that Molecular Imaging Corporation has provided."
"At the end of the day," said Paul Crowe, CEO of Molecular Imaging Corporation, "what we sell is service, and in that regard we pride ourselves on exceeding the expectations of our customers. We measure customer satisfaction at each stage of a relationship, knowing that the ultimate goal is a long term partnership with each and every customer.
"We are very pleased to have been selected as a business partner by Kaweah Delta, and are genuinely excited about the opportunity to help them provide state of the art technology to their central California community. "
