FusionOne Appoints VP to Cultivate Strategic Partnerships; Tom Hunt, Former JP Mobile and Intellisync Executive, to Lead FusionOne Through Next Stages of Growth

FusionOne, a leading provider of personal content management applications for mobile phone users, has appointed Tom Hunt as vice president of business development and sales operations. Hunt will report directly to CEO and president Rick Onyon.
Hunt brings nearly 30 years of wireless and mobile communication industry experience to FusionOne, ranging from sales and marketing to executive management and business development. Most recently, Hunt served as chief operating officer for Dallas-based JP Mobile, where he helped focus the company on enterprise-based strategies and solutions.
Prior to JP Mobile, Hunt held a range of executive positions at Pumatech (now Intellisync), focusing on corporate development and strategy, M&A activity, sales and marketing, as well as alliances. Hunt has also held various positions at Radiomail Corporation, DISCTEC and GRiD Systems. Hunt began his career at the White House serving in both the Carter and Reagan administrations, where he worked in mobile communications planning and architecture.
In his role at FusionOne, Hunt will be responsible for the development of strategic partnerships with device manufacturers and OEMs. Additionally, he will oversee the financial and legal operations of the company.
