The New Look of Portal; Portal Creates a Fresh, Updated Look with a New Web Site and Logo
Business Wire, June 22, 2004
NOVATO, Calif. -- Portal Publications, a graphic arts publishing company, revealed its new look today. Portal's image makeover has been launched with the help of two different mediums -- a redesigned web site and a new logo.
Led by its in-house design team, Portal's old site underwent a major makeover. The result is the creation of an innovative web design that showcases Portal's stunning array of products and services. This site brings new life and movement to the imagery that Portal and its customers hold close. In addition, the redesign creates an exciting gateway into Portal's new business-to-business site. This online service provides a quick, easy, and convenient way for customers to view and order Portal's most current product offerings (www.portalpub.com).
Portal's in-house design team created a logo that is fresh and fun yet reflects the same contemporary trends as its products. The new, sleeker logo design replaces the older, classic logo, which became a popular symbol of Portal's brand identity over the last fifty years. The design was inspired by Portal's ongoing effort to incorporate innovation and uniqueness into every piece of art it publishes.
"The changes we have made to our web site and our logo are very exciting for us," stated Harlen Springer, President of Portal Publications. "We are an image-driven company. It is our ultimate goal to evoke emotion through our creation and publication of striking and compelling imagery. To our customers and employees, our new look reaffirms our commitment to providing fine products and imagery. It is a symbol of our renewed life and energy as we work towards a bright and successful future."
