NICE Systems Appoints Ran Oz as Chief Financial Officer

RA'ANANA, Israel -- NICE Systems (Nasdaq:NICE), a worldwide leader of multimedia recording solutions, applications and related professional services for business interaction management, today announced that Ran Oz will join the company as corporate vice president and chief financial officer effective September 1.

"He has a strong background in both finance and operations and is extremely well-respected by the business and investment communities. In addition, his experience in software will be extremely valuable as we increase our focus in this area."
Mr. Oz joins NICE from Ceragon Networks (Nasdaq:CRNT), an international fixed wireless company, where he was chief financial officer. He joined Ceragon in 2001 after six years with Jacada (Nasdaq:JCDA), an international software company, where he held a variety of positions in finance and operations -- most recently as general manager of the parent company and corporate CFO. Prior to joining Jacada, Mr. Oz spent several years in public accounting. He received both his bachelors degree in accounting and economics (dean's list) and masters in business administration and economics (with honors) from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is also a licensed CPA.
