BOTHELL, Wash. -- Selection of Myrio Platform Positions Pioneer for Future Revenue Growth

Myrio Corporation, a leading provider of IP video software and services, today announced that Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Inc., a multi-service communications company, has selected the Myrio IP Video Platform for the deployment of IP television services to 30 counties in Oklahoma. Myrio's flexible platform allows Pioneer Telephone to offer advanced video services to more than 30,000 co-op subscribers.

Pioneer Telephone is the third largest telephone cooperative in the United States providing customers with numerous communications products and services, including cellular, DSL, long distance, Internet, paging, security systems, key system sales/maintenance and directory advertisement. By deploying the Myrio IP Video Platform, Pioneer Telephone will begin offering a voice, data and video bundle, which will include digital television and pay-per-view, by mid-summer 2004.

"The massive changes occurring in the telephone industry today requires Pioneer Telephone to deploy a flexible IP video solution quickly and cost-effectively," said Richard Ruhl, General Manager of Pioneer Telephone Cooperative. "Myrio has an excellent reputation for delivering a state-of-the-art digital video solution that will help us to generate additional revenue and provide continuous support as our subscriber base grows."

Myrio's IP Video Platform is Java-based, which is the ideal development and deployment platform for an emerging class of interactive services and applications such as video. The flexibility of Myrio's platform to operate across large network and various hardware environments allows Pioneer to reduce deployment time. Commercially deployed by more broadband providers than any other solution, the Myrio IP Video Platform is a critical component to increase revenue and reduce operating costs for cooperative telephone companies.

"The commercially proven Myrio IP Video Platform provides large cooperative telephone companies like Pioneer Telephone the ability to bundle a world class video service with its core voice and data services," said Roger Shanafelt, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Myrio. "This triple-play offering enables Pioneer to generate additional revenue streams and meet their subscribers demand for advanced digital video services."
