Dorado Software Extends Industry Leading Support for Juniper Networks' Infrastructure with J-series and NetScreen Device Drivers and Support for Advanced Services PIC

CHICAGO -- Redcell Products Uniquely Enable Uniform Access and Control to Entire Line of Juniper Infrastructure Devices and Advanced Capabilities

Dorado Software, a leading provider of network infrastructure management software, today announced that its Redcell product family has extended off-the-shelf support for Juniper Networks with additional device drivers for the J-series service routers and the NetScreen security platforms as well as advanced capabilities for the M/T Series Advanced Services PIC. The additional device drivers and advanced features are combined with existing support for Juniper's M, T and E Series to deliver the industry's only available comprehensive management products for the Juniper product line.

The Redcell product line consolidates the operational interfaces across the entire suite of Juniper-based networking devices. This enables customers, who are leveraging more than one Juniper platform in their infrastructure, a common operational use model which delivers simplification, increased efficiencies, faster network device rollout and deployment of new services and applications. End-users realize a common set of capabilities that include discovery, inventory, change management and topology in addition to advanced functions such as policy management, security configuration, VPN configuration, and automation.

With the addition of the NetScreen Device Driver, Dorado adds scale to managed NetScreen deployments as well as a common use model with other security technologies delivered with JunOS and JunOS-E based devices. Network administrators, from common console can now manage large scale environments while adding NetScreen to Juniper deployments, in simple, easy-to-use fashion. Network administrators can now configure and control firewalls, IP VPNs, IDS and other features from NetScreen devices alongside Juniper routing platforms with similar capabilities.

Dorado, leveraging its Premier Partner relationship with Juniper is able to offer "same day service" for the initial shipments of this new JunOS based networking device, announced last week. Enterprise customers and managed service providers will be able to leverage Redcell's advanced CPE management capabilities as well as configuration for services such as IP Sec VPN, VOIP, Policies, etc.

Dorado has also extended its industry leading support for the M/T Series devices with advanced wizards and configuration capabilities for the Advanced Services (AS) PIC. Easy to use wizards enable network administrators to configure firewalls, IP VPNs, Intrusion detection, packet shaping, NAT and other services provided by the AS PIC. By making the tedious and time consuming process of configuring these capabilities simple and automated, network administrators avoid errors, speed deployment and increase velocity of the adoption cycle of the technology.
