FusionOne Appoints VP to Spearhead Carrier Sales Strategy; Ron Gastrock Joins from InfoSpace to Drive Sales and Wireless Operator Partnership Development

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- FusionOne, a leading provider of personal content management applications for mobile phone users, has appointed Ron Gastrock as vice president of carrier sales. Gastrock will report directly to CEO and president Rick Onyon.
With over 20 years of experience in the wireless industry, Gastrock has established relationships with the majority of operators in North America. Prior to FusionOne, Gastrock was the vice president of business development in the wireless division at InfoSpace. During his tenure at InfoSpace, Gastrock secured contracts with Cingular, T-Mobile, Verizon, ALLTEL and Qwest Wireless for m-commerce and hosted portal solutions. Gastrock was also responsible for overseeing InfoSpace's wireless network operator accounts in North and South America, including Alltel, Verizon, BellSouth, Sprint, SBC, Nextel, Worldcom and Qwest.
Gastrock also has experience working with operators in Latin America and has held sales management positions with Siemens AG, SONY, Ericsson and Uniden America, as well as management positions with BellSouth and Cellular One.
In his role at FusionOne, Gastrock will be responsible for leading the sales organization and expanding the company's wireless operator customer portfolio. He will work closely with carriers to create new opportunities and increase FusionOne's value proposition.
