Sonic Solutions (Nasdaq:SNIC) today announced that computer home electronics giant Sony Corporation has licensed Sonic's AuthorScript(R), the world's leading DVD and CD formatting and burning engine, to power its Click to DVD(TM) software included in new models of Sony VAIO desktop computers. Sonic AuthorScript allows Sony to provide VAIO users with a complete solution for burning video or TV programs recorded with a VCR, camcorder, or Sony Giga Pocket(TM) to DVD.
