ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX:ATY)(NASDAQ:ATYT) today announces that FireGL(TM) graphics accelerators have been selected by over a dozen industry leading OEMs and Workstation System Integrators (WSIs) for their new PCI Express based workstations. Those who have selected from the FireGL Visualization series include HP, Alienware, Boxx, Coastline, Colfax, Leading Technologies, Maxivision, Polywell, Xi Computer and other tier-1 OEMs. ATI's FireGL Visualization series of products with the bandwidth and performance capabilities inherent in PCI Express, accelerate the most demanding of high-end 3D applications, such as Catia(R), Maya(R), Softimage XSI(R) and SolidWorks(R).

The FireGL Visualization series includes the entry-level FireGL(TM) V3100 with 128 MB of memory, 4 pixel pipelines and 2 vertex processors; the FireGL(TM) V3200 which adds stereo 3D capabilities; the mid-range FireGL(TM) V5100 with 128MB of memory, 12 pixel pipelines, 6 vertex processors and stereo 3D output and the high end FireGL(TM) V7100 with 256MB of GDDR3 memory, 16 pixel pipelines, 6 geometry engines, stereo 3D and dual link capabilities. ATI's FireGL products feature dual display output and are supported by a unified driver, which is tested and certified by professional 3D ISV partners, making system administration and upgrades cost effective and simple. All FireGL products come with a three year warranty and unlimited direct access to a dedicated workstation technical support team.
