BAX Global Names Kroesen Connell to Spearhead Media Relations

IRVINE, Calif. -- BAX Global Inc., a $2 billion global supply chain and transportation solutions provider, announced the addition of Marie Kroesen Connell as manager, public relations at its worldwide headquarters in Irvine, Calif.
In this recently created position, Kroesen Connell will spearhead public relations and media relations activities throughout 133 countries for BAX Global. Her expertise in creating infrastructures to support and execute public relations will expand access for journalists to BAX Global, and its resources in the industry.
"Marie's depth of experience is an asset to BAX Global," said Jerry Levy, vice president, Marketing at BAX Global. "Her forte with the media enables BAX to reinforce its market leader position, both domestically and internationally," he added.
An award-winning public relations practitioner for over 14 years, Kroesen Connell specializes in media relations and crisis communications. Most recently, she spearheaded the creation of the public relations department for one of the largest tertiary medical centers in Orange County, Calif. Additionally, her previous positions handling media relations at Fortune 500 healthcare and retail companies, complements BAX's expertise in those vertical markets.
Kroesen Connell has served in various elected and volunteer leadership positions with the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators in Orange County and Las Vegas since 1990. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Kroesen Connell received a bachelor of arts in Communications with an emphasis in public relations.
