Blue Ribbon International Announces a Major Restructuring

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 4, 2004

Blue Ribbon International, Inc. (BLRB) today announced a major corporate restructuring with the naming of new corporate officers, a new management team heading up its four new operating divisions, and the consolidation of its operations in new corporate offices.

Michael Wm. O'Gorman, M.B.A., J.D., recently elected Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, said, "Today marks the launch of Blue Ribbon International as 'A New Generation Lifestyle Company.' The Company is initially organized into four profitable, high-growth, operating divisions, including Health, Hospitality, Entertainment, and Leisure. Blue Ribbon is now uniquely positioned to capitalize on the exciting opportunities offered by today's contemporary lifestyles."

In addition to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the Blue Ribbon International Board of Directors elected the following corporate officers: Don Langreich, Executive Vice President, Bob Schmidt, Executive Vice President and President, Blue Ribbon Hospitality, Diane Masters, Senior Vice President and President, Blue Ribbon Entertainment, Dr. Joseph P. Matriss, Executive Vice President and President, Blue Ribbon HealthWorks, and Ken Miller, Senior Vice President and President, Blue Ribbon Leisure. Mr. George Levy, the Company's founder, was named Chairman Emeritus. Utilizing his decades of publishing experience, Mr. Levy will also oversee special publishing projects and the Blue Ribbon Mint under the Company's Entertainment division.
