BROOKFIELD, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 9, 2004
Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq:FISV) said client growth for its MortgageServ loan servicing system and UniFi PRO eX loan origination system has prompted a move to new office space in the Blackthorn Corporate Park in South Bend, Indiana.
The new location - about a mile from its previous facility - is home to the executive offices and operational support for the MortgageServ product, as well as customer service teams for UniFi PRO eX. The new building has space to add more personnel as the number of UniFi PRO eX and MortgageServ client institutions continues to expand.
The South Bend office is the hub for all MortgageServ support and development efforts. Additional regional client support centers are in Dallas, Texas, and Florence, South Carolina. Product and business development for UniFi PRO eX is shared between facilities in Lake Mary and Plantation, Florida.
With client care in mind, Fiserv has furnished the South Bend facility with training rooms for hands-on workshops and visitor banks to make clients feel at home. In addition to accommodating visiting clients, the building's improvements extend beyond the walls to include a state-of-the-art network and telephony infrastructure that will enhance customer service programs for all UniFi PRO eX and MortgageServ clients.
"The facility reinforces our goals to be client-centric. We've made it easier for our clients to contact us and we are better able to speed responses back to them," said Tom Gorman, Chief Operating Officer of Fiserv Loan Servicing Products. "Clients will have the opportunity to attend MortgageServ training in the same facility where the system experts and architects work. This will ensure that they learn the MortgageServ system rapidly and effectively. Interacting with product experts helps clients to leverage the ongoing investment that Fiserv makes in the MortgageServ platform and also strengthens the client/provider partnership."
Findings from the 2003 MORTECH Study point to the reasons for the growth in MortgageServ clients. According to the study, servicers looking to change servicing platforms cite integrated workflow, scalability, Internet connectivity and product flexibility as reasons to switch.
With its built-in process automation tools, multi-million loan scalability, and ability to service home equity lines of credit side by side with mortgages, MortgageServ has strong functionality, Gorman said. MortgageServ also is the primary system used for servicing subprime mortgages because of its complete delinquency, bankruptcy, foreclosure and REO support, he said.
Increased demand for UniFi PRO Mortgage eX can be attributed to its open integration and highly configurable task-management utilities. UniFi PRO Mortgage eX provides the tools and performance that lenders need to not only be competitive, but to help realize the mortgage industry's vision of fully automated, straight-through processing.
MortgageServ and UniFi PRO Mortgage eX are offerings of Fiserv Lending Solutions, a suite of products and services provided by Fiserv to mortgage and consumer lenders. Fiserv's comprehensive lending solution set includes mortgage and auto lead generation management and customer loyalty programs, industry-leading automated valuation model (AVM) products, auto leasing solutions, mortgage banking software and services, appraisals, broker price opinions, credit reporting, closing services and default management.
