Supporting Education
RMS Public Relations has been hired by the Capistrano Unified School District Foundation to help raise awareness for the group's many causes in support of local schools. The CUSDF works with all 50 schools and 50,000 school children in the Capistrano District. RMS was brought in by the foundation's board members to craft a six-month plan of support for events and membership drives.
"We are really changing the way people approach public education," said Board Member Blake Stephens. "Funds for education get cut each year, but we want the level of education to continue, which directly affects home values, so it is important to everyone, even people without school-age children, to help fund our schools and programs for the future. We brought on RMS PR to help us get out the message that foundations and outside assistance is needed to pick up supplies and other things that should be provided by the state but due to budget problems, it is no longer feasible."
RMS Public Relations works with local media for their wide-client base of technology, consumer electronics, industrial manufacturing and specialty food items. They also help support The Joyful Child Foundation and realize that the children of the area are key to the economic future of Orange County. RMS will work to support the foundation's fundraising events, the charitable programs and the parent membership drive. They have also brought several marketing programs to the table to gain corporate support.
