The Cooking Show is a "Multi-Course" Event Featuring Celebrity and Local Chefs, Cooking Schools, Food and Wine Samples, Gear and Gadgets, Product Vendors, Area Restaurants, and Much More!

The Cooking Show, a unique and innovative community event that celebrates the art of cooking and the enjoyment of food and wine, today announced a donation of event tickets to Connecticut Public Broadcasting's Online Auction and the Spring Auction sponsored by Women's Club of East Granby, Connecticut. The Cooking Show is sponsored by the Connecticut Culinary Institute, Delia, Intermezzo Magazine, Princess House, The Vine Times, Kiss 95.7, 105.9 The River and Country 92.5 and features two stages and tons of kitchen and cooking-related exhibits for two days of culinary excitement. Plus the event offers visitors a fun and dynamic learning experience and a marketplace atmosphere of specialty and gourmet items to sample and purchase. Highlights of The Cooking Show Hartford include chef demonstrations by Lora Brody, Crescent Dragonwagon, Elizabeth Karmel, Michel Nischan, David Rosengarten, Christopher Speed, Prudence Sloane, Les Harris, Chris Prosperi, Roseann Tully, and Connecticut Culinary Institute Chefs Bruno Neveu and Jamie Roraback, as well as national and New England food, wine, cooking and kitchen-related businesses.

The Cooking Show is a community-oriented event, and a donation will be made to Foodshare of Hartford (http://www.foodshare.org). In addition, there will be a canned food drive for extra door prize entries.
