WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 2004
Military MBA continues to gain momentum as three more of the nation's leading business schools join the network of universities offering MBA degree programs and quality education resources for active, reserve and retired military officers.
Duke University The Fuqua School of Business; Goizueta Business School at Emory University; and University of Florida Warrington College of Business recently joined the expanding alliance of MBA schools. See http://www.militarymba.net for a complete list of Military MBA's 20 member universities.
Military MBA now provides military officers central-site access to 180 MBA degree programs that are delivered on campus or online, as well as networking and career resources to effectively apply MBA education.
"The addition of Fuqua, Goizueta and Warrington fortifies our position as the preferred destination and trusted resource for military officers who want to receive a quality MBA education for career advancement," notes Greg Eisenbarth, Military MBA's Executive Director. "We've taken a giant step toward establishing the upper tier in the MBA market."
Military MBA qualifies universities using AACSB accreditation. Many participants are listed among the top MBA schools in worldwide rankings of U.S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week and The Financial Times. Some members have been recognized as top institutions for faculty, leadership research, and have helped pioneer the MBA program itself in the US and Europe.
In related news, Military MBA recently launched its "base membership program" in 300 military installations worldwide. The program was specifically designed to promote compliance with officer development initiatives and provide an outside evaluation as recommended by Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC).
