Office Pavilion San Diego to host ``The Apprentice'' Silent Auction and Party

Vicky Carlson, president and CEO of Office Pavilion San Diego, will be hosting a cocktail and silent auction reception in celebration of the NBC/Mark Burnett Productions hit series "The Apprentice" finale.
Office Pavilion, located in the Miramar area, is an integrated full-service workplace resource leader representing the impeccable designs of Herman Miller furniture. Because of the reputations of Herman Miller and Office Pavilion, an executive producer from Mark Burnett Productions approached Office Pavilion last July about being the main product placement company for their new show. When asked about this relationship, Vicky Carlson said, "This was an opportunity for our company to partner with the 'Survivor' team and showcase exquisite Herman Miller product. The unprecedented success of the show has brought us and San Diego national exposure. We were at the right place at the right time."
The furniture was shipped to Trump Towers in New York from Herman Miller headquarters in Michigan, and the taping of the 16-episode series was completed in October 2003. Vicky Carlson flew to New York to meet Donald Trump in his office, and watched the taping of one of the firing sessions. The furniture has since been returned to Office Pavilion San Diego where it is being stored in their 24,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution center. > Office Pavilion is planning a cocktail reception and a silent auction of the 30 pieces of Herman Miller furniture from the original set of "The Apprentice." The proceeds will go to the Voices For Children charity in San Diego.The date of the event is Thursday, April 15, 2004 from 6 to 9 p.m. It will be held at the beautiful Office Pavilion San Diego headquarters located at 6920 Carroll Road. Inside the facility is a 65-person, theater-style AV room where guests can watch the show on an impressive rear projection screen. Tickets are now being sold for $125.
