Pennsylvania Auto Dealers Exchange has received the national "Top Performing Auction 2003" award from Remarketing Services of America, Inc. (RSA). RSA is a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV)
RSA provides strategic vehicle remarketing, lease maturity management, titles management and customer loyalty programs to major banks, auto manufacturers and other automotive financial institutions to enhance portfolio performance. RSA anticipates selling more than 106,000 vehicles at auction by year-end 2004.
An independent auction headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Auto Dealers Exchange was ranked as the top auction in the nation by RSA's National Quality Control Program (NQCP), which annually tracks effectiveness and performance of vehicle auctions. The NQCP ranks auctions using a strict rating system that includes four diverse categories: sales effectiveness, operational effectiveness, marketing and on-site preparation.
The annual award program, now in its fifth year, has become a very competitive event for the nation's auto auctions, said Tom Pietras, RSA's Manager of Auction Sales and Performance. In addition to a plaque, the honor includes an awards dinner and industry recognition.
Harrisonburg Auto Auction of Harrisonburg, Virginia, was second in the 2003 ranking and Carolina Auto Auction of Anderson, South Carolina, was third.
"These auctions have consistently been our top performers of the past several years and we value our partnership with them," Pietras said.
