Linkin Park Adds The Used to This Summer's Hottest Lineup; Third PROJEKT REVOLUTION North American Tour Dates Announced; MTV2 on Board as Media Sponsor

PROJEKT REVOLUTION, headlined by Linkin Park for the third time, will kick off July 23rd in Cincinnati and hit 32 North American stops this summer. Reprise recording artists The Used have been added to the lineup. Additionally, MTV2 has signed up as a media sponsor of the tour, which will also feature groundbreaking artists Korn and Snoop Dogg.

The summer tour will continue in the tradition of past PROJEKT REVOLUTION tours, born on the idea of merging and showcasing a variety of music styles. PROJEKT REVOLUTION began in 2002 with openers Cypress Hill, Adema and DJ Z-Trip. Last year's musical guests were Xzibit, Mudvayne and Blindside.

"The Used coming out with us this summer just adds to what I think is the best tour out there," says Chester Bennington, vocalist for Linkin Park. "Our fans are going to get a great festival with all these huge bands ... and we aren't even done adding all of the bands yet."

Ticket prices for the show will range from $35.50 to $49.50 plus applicable parking and service charges. There will also be various fan club and online ticket presales occurring prior to the general on-sale dates.

Currently, Linkin Park are finishing up their headlining Meteora World Tour, which has seen the band playing sold-out concerts at major arenas across the country. The tour began in January 2004 and will end on March 15th at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Linkin Park's "Meteora" was the best selling rock album of 2003, moving over 4 million copies in the US alone. In November 2003 they released "Linkin Park: Live in Texas," a CD/DVD combo that was filmed during last year's Summer Sanitarium tour with Metallica. Their debut album, "Hybrid Theory," has sold 15 million copies worldwide and was the best selling album of 2001.

Korn have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and have received widespread critical acclaim for their music. The band -- Jonathan, Munky, Head, Fieldy and David -- has redefined the parameters of heavy music, revolutionizing the genre by matching unsettling guitar textures and volcanic rhythms with jagged, introspective lyrics and intense vocal stylings. "Take a Look in The Mirror," released in November 2003, marks the band's sixth -- and first self-produced -- album. The two-time Grammy Award-winning group recently received a third Grammy nomination in the "Best Metal Performance" category for "Did My Time," a track from "Take a Look in the Mirror"; the song was also featured in the film "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life."

Critically acclaimed rapper Snoop Dogg burst on the scene in 1992. Since then, Snoop has emerged as one of hip hop's most acclaimed artists, rapping with everyone from Outkast to Pharell to Wu-Tang Clan to Kid Rock. The Long Beach rapper has sold tens of millions of records and starred in numerous movies such as "Training Day" as well as the upcoming "Starsky & Hutch" and "Soul Plane."
