Over 1,000 Sacramento County Employees Moving to AT&T Wireless Voice Services

California County to Realize Cost, Operational Efficiencies Through

Wireless Provider's Flexible Price Plans, Billing Practices

The County of Sacramento, CA has selected AT&T Wireless to provide it with wireless voice services for more than 1,000 County employees.

Case workers, supervisors and other officials in such County departments as Health and Human Services and Child Protective Services are being shifted to AT&T Wireless, as are employees of the Sacramento County Airport System. The County cited AT&T Wireless' flexible price plans, including a low-cost, flat rate for occasional users, and billing practices as key reasons for the contract award.
