EFI Connect 2004 Users' Conference

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 2004

EFI (Nasdaq:EFII), the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, today announced that Marc Benioff, Chairman and CEO of salesforce.com, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming fifth annual EFI Connect users' conference. Benioff will deliver a presentation entitled "CRM: The New Business Essential" on Tuesday morning, June 29th.

Taking place June 27-30th at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Connect is one of the largest user conferences in the printing industry. The four-day event will provide EFI/Printcafe customers with the opportunity to discuss industry trends, test drive the latest software updates, exchange ideas, and attend a broad range of educational and keynote sessions.

"We're very excited to have Marc address the Connect audience on the important topic of customer relationship management," said Marc Olin, Vice President/General Manager, EFI Commercial Print Systems. "As the founder and leader of the most successful company in the on demand CRM market, he brings years of personal insight and industry perspective on how CRM can bring significant value to the print industry. Since acquiring and retaining customers is one of the most critical factors in the success of a print company, CRM solutions, when used in concert with our MIS systems, can be an invaluable tool in achieving this goal."

A 25-year software industry veteran, Benioff is recognized as one of the preeminent thinkers in information technology. He founded salesforce.com in March 1999 with a vision to create a Web-based software utility that would replace traditional enterprise software technology. Fortune Magazine recently called him one of its Top 10 Entrepreneurs to Watch, and CRM Magazine recognized him as one of the 20 most influential people in the industry. Prior to creating salesforce.com, Benioff spent 13 years at Oracle Corporation, holding a number of leadership positions in sales, marketing, and product development. Before joining Oracle, he worked at Apple Computer and founded Liberty Software.

The EFI Connect 2004 program has been expanded with new content and an increase in the number of conference tracks. In addition to Benioff's keynote, the conference will feature three other general sessions and more than 150 breakout sessions, with practical applications and discussions EFI has tailored to leverage the tremendous success of Printcafe's Print Management Information Solutions.
