Honda & Civic Tour Give Fans an Interactive Website; Fans Can Download Free Music and Enter to Win a Customized Dashboard Confessional Civic

Dashboard Confessional announces the launch of civictour.com today, the official Civic Tour 2004 interactive website. Civictour.com will serve as the hub for all tour news updates, tour dates and free limited music downloads.

For the first time in tour history, Civic Tour is offering fans the opportunity to download music exclusively from civictour.com, free of charge. These songs are not available for sale or download anywhere else. Fans will be able to download up to three recently recorded live songs by Dashboard Confessional. They include "The Sharp Hint of New Tears," "Screaming Infidelities" and "Hands Down," recorded during their March '04 tour of Germany. There will not be any special passwords or download charges for visitors. The downloading will begin on May 13 and continue until the first 500,000 downloads are completed. The songs will play on all popular operating systems.

Also featured on civictour.com is a chance for music fans to win one of 11 customized and autographed Dashboard Confessional Civics. The Civics feature a fully customized Alpine audio/visual system, unique airbrushed paint jobs, specialized interiors, performance tires and a new Alpine state-of-the-art iPod interface and unit.

As viewers navigate through civictour.com they will find exclusive band diaries from the road, a link to the official band website, the complete tour schedule and current Civic Tour news. Fans can also view the features of the customized Civics, including the Alpine system.
