            3:30 p.m. pacific time each day of the 2004 Electronic
            Entertainment Expo.

What: The E3 Hot List is based on data from GameSpot Trax, the
            industry's most advanced tool for monitoring specific,
            real-time gaming trends and preferences. GameSpot Trax
            pinpoints trends based on its analysis of the activities
            of more than one million daily GameSpot Network visitors,
            combined with editorial coverage from 350 online and
            offline publications.

            In addition to tracking current buzz and trends, GameSpot

            companies actively using the service -- from game
            publishers to industry analysts to retailers -- GameSpot
            Trax has become the buzz scorecard for the Industry.

Details: According to GameSpot Trax, the five games that
            received the most buzz during day two of E3 are:

            #1 Metal Gear Acid: The top portable game on the Hot List
            during the E3 show returns to number one on the last day.
            Metal Gear Acid has been praised by GameSpot editors for
            its sharp graphics and models. Publisher: Konami;
            Platform: PlayStation Portable

            #2: Super Mario 64x4 -- The latest version of Super Mario
            64x4 allows the single-player mode of the N64 classic, as
            well as new multiplayer mode with three other players.
            Publisher: Nintendo; Platform: DS

            #3: Half-Life 2: The sequel to one of the best, most
            popular action games ever holds at number three on the
            GameSpot Trax Hot List. Publisher: Vivendi Universal;
            Platform: PC

            #4: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas -- One of the most
            highly anticipated games at E3, the latest Grand Theft
            Auto moves to the number four spot on the last day of the
            show. Publisher: Rockstar Games; Platform: PlayStation 2

            #5: The Legend of Zelda (working title): Keeping its place
            on the E3 Hot List, The Legend of Zelda remained an
            attention getter among gamers for the duration of the
            show. Publisher: Nintendo; Platform, GameCube

"Portable gaming has been a big focus for gamers here at E3 this year," said Ankarino Lara, director of GameSpot. "The fact that Metal Gear Acid and Super Mario 64x4 took the top two spots on the Hot List today really demonstrates how the competition between these two publishers in portable gaming is heating up. These year's E3 show has been packed with exciting announcements -- GameSpot has posted more than 1,000 movies of the PSP, DS, and the other major platforms on our site, so gamers can log on to see the action for themselves."
