SeeCommerce Appoints Bob Sandie Senior Vice President of Business Development

SeeCommerce, the leader in supply chain performance management (SCPM) applications, today announced the appointment of Bob Sandie as senior vice president of business development. Sandie brings more than 15 years of business development management experience to SeeCommerce. He has held executive level positions with both growing and established software vendors including IONA Technologies, webMethods, Veritas Software, and Seagate Software. Sandie assumes responsibility for building and managing SeeCommerce's strategic alliances with OEMs and systems integrators. He joins the SeeCommerce executive management team and reports to president and CEO John Ferraro.

Sandie joins SeeCommerce from IONA Technologies, a developer of software integration solutions, where he was vice president of business development. At IONA Sandie was responsible for expanding the company's market leadership position and managing strategic relationships with Microsoft, Compaq, Intel, Sun Microsystems and Accenture. Prior to IONA, Sandie served as vice president of global alliances for webMethods where he established OEM alliances with SAP, i2, Oracle, Ariba, Commerce One, and Siebel Systems, and system integration partnerships with EDS, PWC, and KPMG. At Veritas Software/Seagate Software, Sandie built the company's ISV Partner Program to over 150 partners. Mr. Sandie has also held executive level business development positions with Macro 4 Inc., Knowledge Direct, Inc., and Sumitomo America. Sandie holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from Claremont McKenna College.
