Microlite Corporation now supports the new Iomega(R) REV(TM) drive for backup and disaster recovery storage on SCO OpenServer(TM) 5 and SCO(R) UnixWare(R) 7 operating systems.

The new Iomega REV drive provides 35GB (uncompressed) to 90GB (compressed) of high performance storage in a removable disk small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. It combines the capacity and features of tape with the speed and ease of use of a hard drive. Microlite BackupEDGE(TM) detects and supports the Iomega REV drive on SCO UNIX operating systems with no special device drivers required.

Iomega REV Drive Availability

The Iomega(R) REV(TM) drive is now shipping in USB 2.0 external ($399.99 with one disk included) and ATAPI internal ($379.99 with one disk included) configurations. REV disks are available individually ($59.99) or in a four-pack ($199.95); all prices are U.S. suggested retail. FireWire(R), SCSI and SATA models are also planned for introduction in the second half of this year.
