SCP Global Technologies Opens New Sales, Service and Software Support Office; SCP Sales and Support Centre Europe Completes Integration of Former Mattson Wet Products Division

SCP Global Technologies (SCP), a leading supplier of semiconductor capital equipment, announced it is establishing a new sales, service and support office in Stuttgart, Germany. The new office will be highly integrated into SCP's global services, and will concentrate its efforts on new and existing technology offerings, including SCP's recently released Emersion 300(TM) single-wafer immersion processor.

The office will augment SCP's ability to service their European customers and offer localized support on the continent. The company will provide service and spare parts support for all SCP product lines from both the new office in Stuttgart and from its Boise office. It is anticipated that about 40 people will be employed in the new SCP Sales and Support Centre Europe, GmbH.

The move follows the integration of the former Mattson Wet Products Division into SCP Global Technologies, Inc. As a final step in the integration, SCP announced today that it will consolidate its manufacturing into the company's prime operations facility in Boise, Idaho. The consolidation will maximize manufacturing efficiencies and will allow leveraging of SCP's state-of-the-art applications and customer demonstration lab, its R&D team, its Sustaining Engineering department and other Boise-based resources for process and product development. As a result of the consolidation, SCP will discontinue operations at its Pliezhausen, Germany facility.
