POTTSVILLE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 19, 2004
EXTOL International, a leading provider of B2B integration software to the mid-sized enterprise, announced today it has been included in the prestigious Gartner, Inc. "Magic Quadrant for Application Integration Vendors," released May 17, 2004 at the Gartner Application Integration Conference in the "niche player" quadrant.
This is one of several recent Gartner research items recognizing EXTOL solutions. In a March 1, 2004 Research Note titled "Finding Innovation in the Mature B2B Landscape," the EXTOL Business Integrator was one of two products reviewed for consideration when specific functionality is needed but otherwise unavailable, too expensive, or too heavyweight, from the larger vendors.(1)
According to Gartner, Inc., Niche Players focus on a particular segment of the client base, as defined by characteristics such as size, vertical or project complexity. Their ability to outperform or innovate may be impacted by this narrow focus.
