PC Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCCC), a leading direct marketer of information technology (IT) products and solutions, has announced that Jay V. Lambke has joined its GovConnection subsidiary as President. Lambke succeeds Don Weatherson, who oversaw the subsidiary on an interim basis since November 2003. Weatherson will continue in his role as non-executive Chairman of the subsidiary's Board of Directors.
"Jay is a talented and experienced leader who brings a great deal of skill and commitment to our GovConnection team," Weatherson said. Lambke began his career in government IT sales as a territory manager for Tech Data Corp.
Lambke will be based in the subsidiary's headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, and will also oversee GovConnection call centers in New Hampshire and Connecticut. "We are pleased to have Jay join us as President of GovConnection, our subsidiary that specializes in public sector sales," said Patricia Gallup, Chairman and CEO of parent company PC Connection, Inc.
