Increased manageability, configuration control and better change
monitoring and reporting win accolades of enterprise networks
Tripwire(R) Inc., the world leader in Change Monitoring and Reporting software, today announced its newest network configuration management software, Tripwire for Network Devices (TND) 3.0, has been selected as a finalist for the Network Management category for the Best of Interop Awards competition by CMP Media's CRN, Network Computing, VARBusiness and Network Magazine. Winners will be selected at NetWorld Interop 2004 Las Vegas, to be held May 11th, 2004.
"The evolution of TND was strongly influenced by input from many of our major customers. We're thrilled to have this validation from CMP Media as well," said Jean Nassar, vice president of marketing for Tripwire. "This recognition further underscores the demand for better tools that enable greater manageability, configuration control and better change monitoring and reporting of enterprise networks."
The Best of Interop Awards are designed to help IT and network managers shorten the evaluation process in assessing new technology products. The editors of CMP Media's CRN, Network Computing, VARBusiness and Network Magazine, four of CMP Media's premier information technology publications, review over 150 submissions, evaluating new products. Finalists were then selected in 10 categories. Tripwire for Network Devices was named a Finalist in Network Management.
"When selecting finalists for the Best of Interop Awards, we're looking for products that stand out from the competition by providing a unique solution to a problem or one that blazes new territory in the networking arena," explained Ron Anderson, lab director for Network Computing and head of the joint editorial judging for the Best of Interop Awards.
Tripwire for Network Devices is a multi-vendor network configuration management software product that manages, monitors and reports changes to routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls. Tripwire will demonstrate its award-winning change monitoring and reporting solutions at NetWorld Interop 2004 Las Vegas at booth number 2411.
