To qualify for the CPM Magic Quadrant vendors have to meet specific criteria metrics to compete for a favorable spot within it. Gartner uses corporate performance management (CPM) as an umbrella term to describe the methodologies, metrics, processes and systems used to monitor and manage an enterprise's business performance. Gartner defines vendors listed in the visionary quadrant as having a clear vision of market direction and are focused on preparing for that, but they can still improve in terms of optimizing service delivery.
