TRAE Acquires Interest in 3 Additional Wells with Multiple Sands; Estimated Recoverable Gas Reserves in Excess of 3.65 Billion Cubic Feet

HOUSTON -- On November 11, 2004, Triton American Energy Corp. (OTC PK: TRAE) of Houston, TX., is pleased to announce they have acquired interest in three additional in Duval County Texas. Estimated recoverable reserves within the wells are in the area of over 3.65 Billion Cubic Feet of Gas and 175 thousand barrels of oil. Estimated life time of wells is in excess of 5 years.
The Odilina Vera #1 Well comprises 3 Sands with proven oil and gas. The Yegua Sand has estimated recoverable reserves from completion of 806 million cubic feet of gas (MMCFG) and 21 thousand barrels of oil (MBO). The Hockley Sand has already produced as much as 1 billion cubic feet of gas (BCFG) and 24 thousand barrels of oil (MBO) in wells north and west of the Vera #1 well. Triton American's estimated recoverable reserves from this completion are 628 million cubic feet of gas and 17 thousand barrels of oil. The third sand within this well is The Tinney Sand. This sand has proven to be a significant oil producer of oil. Estimated recoverable reserves from this completion are 548 million cubic feet of gas and 15 thousand barrels of oil.
There are many shallow pay sands within the Odilina Vera #1 well that appear productive. Possible combined reserves from these shallow sands are 250 million cubic feet of gas and 20 thousand barrels of oil.
The Francisca De Chapa #1 well is currently completed and comprises estimated reserves of 600 million cubic feet of gas. Anticipated initial rate of production is 350 thousand cubic feet of gas per day.
The Francisca Vera De Chapa# 2 well comprises significant reserves. Total estimated recoverable reserves of this completion are 970 million cubic feet of gas and 37,000 barrels of oil. Both wells are tied into the sales system and are ready for production.
