WordLogic Announces Appointment of Dr. David Stirling as Vice President of Business Development-Educational Division

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- WordLogic Corporation (OTCBB:WLGC) today announced the appointment of Dr. David Stirling as Vice President of Business Development for the newly-created Educational Division.

Through the Stirling Heights Foundation, a non-profit corporation, Dr. Stirling, 57, has devoted his career to aiding students with learning difficulties and literacy problems. In the course of his work, Dr. Stirling was introduced to WordLogic technology, which provides a faster, more efficient method of text entry for computing and devices ranging from small hand-held devices to conventional desktop computers.

Dr. Stirling asserts, "From firsthand experience, I am convinced that the technology developed by WordLogic has the potential to alter the way we communicate and facilitate the learning process. In addition to enhancing efficiency, WordLogic's technology can be a powerful solution to the worldwide struggle with illiteracy."

Prior to joining WordLogic, Dr. Stirling was Principal of Kyuquot Elementary Secondary School and Director of the Houpsitas Adult Learning Center in Kyuquot, British Columbia. Throughout his career, Dr Stirling has been developing individual education programs for students with learning difficulties. Dr. Stirling has utilized the WordLogic Predictive Keyboard(TM) with his students and has discovered that is a powerful tool in enabling individuals to communicate effectively.

Dr. Stirling has served as Chairman of Undergraduate Programs, School of Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University; Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and Director of Grants and Research at Trinity Western University both located in British Columbia. He also served as Vice President of University Development at Universario Nazarena in Costa Rica and the Director of Development for the Kodaikanal International Baccalaureate School in South India.
