EIT Inc Receives Network Upgrade Orders From Sprint

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- The Helical Corporation Inc. ("Helical") (TSX-V-"HSI") advises that EIT Inc. (A company which Helical has recently executed an Agreement to Purchase) announced today that it has received several new purchase orders from Sprint, to upgrade Sprints network of Siemens DCO Systems These purchase orders, which ultimately will be worth over $300,000 USD should be delivered by the end of November at the request of Sprint. These software upgrades will bring this portion of Sprints network of Siemens DCO switching systems up to the latest release level that is available from Siemens and includes the US Government mandated, Communications Access for Law Enforcement (CALEA) feature that allows various law enforcement agencies to unobtrusively tap telephone lines of subscribers that are connected to digital switching systems in the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). "We expect to see more orders of this type from Sprint and many of the other Independent Operating Companies" stated Peter Lyons, Vice President and General manager of EIT Inc.
