Perfect Commerce Reports Continued Growth; Adds 13 New Clients and Expands 17 Current Relationships in Q3
Business Wire, Nov 16, 2004
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Perfect Commerce, Inc., the leading provider of On-Demand Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solutions and The Open Supplier Network(SM)(The OSN(SM)), continues to expand its customer base and deliver world-class SRM solutions to satisfied customers. During the third quarter, Perfect Commerce added 13 new clients and expanded its relationships with 17 current customers.
"The significant growth of our diverse customer base, which now includes 160 of the Fortune 1000 companies, is a reflection of our ability to deliver value to our clients," said Sandy Kemper, chairman and CEO of Perfect Commerce. "By helping companies reduce the cost and complexity of their procurement process our solutions contribute directly to bottom-line financial results."
The addition of diverse companies such as H&R Block -- the world's largest tax services company, Aquila -- an electric and natural gas utility serving 1.3 million customers across seven U.S. states, and Royal Caribbean Cruises -- one of the world's largest cruise companies, demonstrates the broad appeal and functionality of Perfect Commerce solutions in a wide variety of industries.
According to Rick Parrin, assistant vice president, strategic sourcing, H&R Block: "Our Source-to-Settle initiative required a partner who could provide complete supplier enablement and connectivity capabilities. Perfect Commerce's Open Supplier Network is a pivotal component in achieving H&R Block's objectives of enhancing the procurement process and accelerating ROI."
The company also added one of the world's largest brand-name apparel manufacturers, an international network of professional services firms, a leading global manufacturer of recreational vehicles, a banking and payment technology solutions provider and a healthcare information technology leader.
"Perfect Commerce has been a key partner in our effort to streamline and automate our procurement practice. The flexibility and functionality of their solution results in real bottom-line benefits," said Charles Caraballo, director of procurement, Cambrex.
In addition, Perfect Commerce is building a Diversity Supplier Network inside The OSN specifically designed to help companies find and transact with minority and disadvantaged suppliers. The initiative is designed to accelerate business growth and assist corporations in increasing their spending with minority and disadvantaged suppliers. According to Lonnie Scott, president, The Minority Supplier Council: "The agreement with Perfect Commerce is a strategic move designed to help promote the inclusion of more minority suppliers in large corporations' supplier base. The ease and speed with which suppliers are electronically enabled to transact with large entities via The OSN is a critical component to growing the opportunities for our constituents."
"We are very appreciative of our clients and are delighted by their success. Perfect Commerce will continue to focus on solutions that help companies simplify the complex challenges of purchasing to enable sustainable supply management and deliver significant cost savings," concluded Kemper.
