Business Wire, Nov 19, 2004

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- On November 11, 2004, J.D. Power and Associates, a global marketing information services firm, released the results of their 2005 Home Mortgage Study. The Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers were pleased with the outcome which reflected that those customers who used a broker tended to be substantially more satisfied. The study stated, "Brokers appear to perform significantly better in meeting customer expectations." FAMB President Van Johnson said, "Our customers tell us we do a good job but it is always nice to have that sentiment reinforced by such a prestigious organization as J.D. Power." Johnson went on to say, "This study shows that Florida's consumers prefer the personal service afforded by our small business mortgage brokers. Florida's mortgage brokerage firms average less than 8 employees, yet have again been awarded 7 out of every 10 residential mortgages by our homeowners."
