ALLTEL Selects Campbell-Ewald to Handle Brand Advertising

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- ALLTEL (NYSE:AT) today announced that it has selected Campbell-Ewald of Detroit as the primary advertising agency to promote ALLTEL's brand. The agreement is effective immediately.
"Campbell-Ewald presented creative work that directly supports our brand efforts," said Frank O'Mara, executive vice president of marketing for ALLTEL. "Campbell-Ewald will help strengthen the emotional link with our customers and drive consideration in the marketplace."
Campbell-Ewald is the nation's sixth-largest advertising and marketing communications agency network, with more than 1,200 employees across the country.
"With its customers first culture and services, we are tremendously excited about helping ALLTEL carve out an even more distinct and successful market position," said Campbell-Ewald President Jeff Scott.
ALLTEL is a customer-focused communications company with more than 13 million customers and $8 billion in annual revenues. ALLTEL provides wireless, local telephone, long-distance, Internet and high-speed data services to residential and business customers in 26 states.
