Boston Acoustics, in partnership with Visteon Corporation (NYSE:VC), entered the Automotive OEM market earlier this year with their first premium audio system featured in the Chrysler 300. The system combines Boston Acoustics' high-quality, high performance speakers and acoustical expertise with Visteon's electronics and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology. The Chrysler 300 feature two different Boston Acoustics sound systems. The premium audio systems are offered as either standard equipment or as a factory-installed upgrade option. Chrysler 300C models can be equipped with an 8-speaker configuration containing a center channel and 8-inch subwoofer powered by a 320-watt DSP amplifier. Also, the Chrysler 300 can be equipped with a 6-speaker configuration powered by a 240-watt DSP amplifier.
