Business Wire, Nov 24, 2004

FAIRFAX, Va. & DUSSELDORF, Germany -- Xybernaut(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:XYBR) today announced that Xybernaut Atigo mobile/wearable computers will be demonstrated at MEDICA 2004, one of the largest medical technology conferences in Europe. The event, which is being held November 24 - 27 at the Dusseldorf Trade Fair Centre in Germany, concentrates on the latest hospital equipment and health information technology (IT) systems.

Xybernaut will be joining medDV - a Xybernaut partner - to present NIDA, an information and documentation system for medical emergency response teams. NIDA combines:

--mobile emergency and patient data documentation;

--information delivery and communication capabilities;

--quality assurance features;

--GPS-based navigation capabilities; and

--integration dispatching and resource coordination for emergency teams

NIDA takes full advantage of unique Atigo features, such as wireless connectivity to peripherals such as health monitoring systems, global positioning systems, central database connectivity and standard printer support (using GPRS, UMTS, Bluetooth, WLAN, or the Atigo docking station and vehicle mount). Combined with the healthcare IT systems provided by medDV, the NIDA system ensures completely digital patient documentation -- from the point-of-emergency care through the advance notice and admission into a healthcare facility for further treatment.

NIDA is available in several languages and can be customized to comply with different healthcare processes, standards and regulations.

The Xybernaut-medDV solutions can be found in Hall 16, booth E 46.
