Authors Establish International Presence with A Carrot a Day; A Carrot A Day reaches WSJ Best Selling List; Books and Lectures Are Now in China, Canada and the UK

SALT LAKE CITY -- Authors Adrian Gostick and Chester Elton, the world's leading experts on employee recognition, have recently released the latest book in their Carrot Series, A Carrot A Day. During the first week of sales, the book reached The Wall Street Journal's business best selling list, and according to Nielsen Bookscan the book was the number one selling adult non-fiction book the week of release.
A Carrot A Day features daily advice on how to use praise, recognition and rewards to motivate employees to work harder and smarter with the company's goals in mind.
Authors Gostick and Elton have presented their global forums based on the Carrot books in China, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Canada and throughout the United States. In fact, the authors are among the first employee recognition experts to enter the Chinese market. At the invitation of Peking and Tsinghua University the authors will deliver recognition forums next week in Beijing. They just returned from the UK where they made a series of appearances last week.
Of equal note, the second book in the Carrot series, The 24 Carrot Manager, has sold almost 200,000 copies, and has been translated into 15 languages, including Complex and Simplified Chinese, French, Korean, Hebrew, Indonesian and Japanese. It was called a "must read for modern-day managers" by Larry King of CNN. The release of The 24 Carrot Manager in China was an overnight sensation, selling 20,000 copies in the first two months. John Wiley & Sons recently purchased the rights to publish The 24 Carrot Manager in paperback in 20 countries in the Pacific Rim.
Managing with Carrots, the first book in the Carrot series, was a Top 10 Business Book of the Year in 2002 according to Canada's Globe & Mail.
