University of Chicago to Release Forecast for U.S. Economy

WHAT: The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business will
release its forecast for 2005 business and economic activity.
WHEN: Wednesday, December 1; 10:00 a.m. news conference
WHERE: Chicago Marriott Downtown, 540 N. Michigan Ave.
Los Angeles Room, fifth floor.
WHO: Making predictions at the event will be:
Randall Kroszner, professor of economics and a former member of
President Bush's three-person Council of Economic Advisers.
Marvin Zonis, professor emeritus of business administration and
an expert in global political and economic development.
Joel Stern, managing partner and chief executive of Stern
Stewart & Co., corporate financial policy advisers.
NOTE: After the news conference, the speakers will delivery their
forecasts at the school's 43rd annual business forecast
luncheon in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott at 12:00 p.m.
Nearly 1,000 business executives are expected to attend.
