Vault Releases New Employee Surveys On MCI

NEW YORK -- New York research firm Vault has just published new employee surveys on communications giant MCI (NASDAQ NM: MCIP) that yesterday reported third quarter 2004 results - providing "insider" information on corporate culture, compensation and hiring practices at the company.

Vault's employee surveys are designed to give investors and jobseekers insight into MCI - and for job seekers, the edge in this tough recruiting climate.

Among the aspects of the company highlighted by the surveys is MCI employees' changing morale.

Says a senior government markets account manager, "Working at MCI has been an adventure the past seven years. The corporate culture has changed as the result of a hostile takeover, redirection in corporate focus, mismanagement, bankruptcy, new management and refocus and finally emergence from bankruptcy.
