PORTLAND, Ore. -- File Format Enhancements and Performance Improvements Headline Free Desktop Upgrade While New SQL Connect Modules Bring Additional Server-Based Support

Extensis Inc. today announced immediate availability of an update to Portfolio 7, its leading Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution, offering new and updated SQL connect modules for Microsoft SQL, Microsoft MSDE, MySQL and Oracle databases. The SQL Connect add-on modules enable companies utilizing Portfolio to scale to millions of assets and provide even more automation to their workflow. These modifications enable end users access to the data they need faster and easier, without time-consuming requests and administrator bottlenecks.

Portfolio 7 Client supports Windows 2000, XP Home, XP Professional and QuickTime 6.4 or higher. Portfolio 7 Server supports Windows 2000 and 2003 Server. 256 MB (512 MB recommended) of physical RAM and 150 MB of free hard disk space required for installation. Portfolio NetPublish requires Microsoft IIS Versions 5.1 or 6.0.

Portfolio 7 Client and Portfolio 7 Server supports Mac OS X (10.2 or higher), Apple Macintosh G3 (G4, G5 or higher recommended) and QuickTime (6.4 or higher). 256 MB (512 MB recommended) of physical RAM and 150 MB of free hard disk space required for installation. Portfolio NetPublish requires Mac OSX 10.2 or higher, Apache 1.3, Macintosh PowerPC G3 at 1GHz (2GHz recommended). 256MB of system RAM (512MB recommended) and 30MB of available hard disk space are recommended.
