Burson-Marsteller Announces Four Global and U.S. Leadership Appointments

NEW YORK -- Burson-Marsteller, the leading global communications consultancy, today announced four new leadership appointments in healthcare and public affairs that further strengthen the firm's global practices.

Ame Wadler has been named chair of the Global Healthcare Practice and Richard Mintz has been appointed chair of the Global Public Affairs Practice. Ms. Wadler was the U.S. Healthcare Practice chair and Mr. Mintz was the U.S. Public Affairs Practice chair. As part of their global assignments, Ms. Wadler and Mr. Mintz join the firm's Worldwide Executive Board.

The Ms. Wadler-led U.S. Healthcare Practice was ranked #1 for quality reputation in the industry by the 2004 Harris/Impulse Survey.

Jim Lake has been named chair of the U.S. Public Affairs Practice and JeanAnn Morgan has been appointed deputy chair for the U.S. Healthcare Practice. Mr. Lake was a managing director in the U.S. Public Affairs Practice and Ms. Morgan was a managing director in the firm's U.S. Healthcare Practice.
