SunGard Awarded SWIFTReady Gold for Trade Finance
Business Wire, Oct 11, 2004
ATLANTA -- SunGard eProcess Intelligence, an operating unit of SunGard (NYSE:SDS), announced today that it has been awarded its fourth SWIFT label, SWIFTReady Gold for Trade Finance for its Tiger Cyber Trade Finance solution. SunGard's products have already garnered the 2004 labels for SWIFTReady Gold for Cash and for Securities Reconciliation, and SWIFTNet Ready for real-time Nostro Account Information.
SWIFT annually certifies solutions from independent software vendors according to their compliance with SWIFT standards, their integration with the SWIFT environment, and their contribution to improving industry STP.
Tiger Cyber, SunGard's on-line trade finance solution, provides banks with white labeled, real-time processing of trade finance activities to their corporate customers. The solution's direct connectivity to SWIFT and its ability to process SWIFT messages associated with trade finance, such as direct collection, letters of credit, and payments messages, were key factors in achieving the SWIFTReady Gold status.
Commenting on the accreditation, Joel Ludvigsen, director of partner solutions at SWIFT, said, "We are pleased to award the SWIFTReady Gold label to Tiger Cyber for our trade finance category. This demonstrates SunGard's commitment to developing solutions that integrate within a SWIFT environment and improve processing efficiency for the benefit of our customers."
Matt Mandalinci, president of SunGard eProcess Intelligence, commented, "We are pleased with our latest accreditation from SWIFT. This makes four SWIFT labels in 2004, two of which we have achieved for four consecutive years. SWIFT's recognition of SunGard's products validates our commitment to providing our customers with business solutions that help improve their customer service and processing efficiency."
Tiger Cyber can be seen at SunGard's stand, H159, at Sibos.
