WHAT: The Economic Club of Chicago will begin its 2004-2005
program year with a unique evening featuring William B.
Harrison, Jr., Chairman and CEO, and Jamie Dimon, President
and COO, of JPMorgan Chase & Co., being interviewed by Charlie
Rose of "The Charlie Rose Show" and "60 Minutes Wednesday."
WHO: Following the July 1, 2004, $50 billion merger of Bank One
Corporation and JPMorgan Chase & Co., Harrison continued as
Chairman and CEO while Dimon, Chairman and CEO of Bank One,
became President and Chief Operating Officer. Dimon will
succeed Harrison in 2006 as CEO of the $1.1 trillion financial
services firm - the second-largest banking company in the
United States -- with top-tier positions in retail banking and
lending, credit cards, investment banking, asset management,
private banking, treasury and securities services,
middle-market, and private equity.
