SAN FRANCISCO -- ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), one of the nation's largest facility service contractors, received recognition for its innovative use of technology on InformationWeek's 2004 list of top 500 companies. ABM ranked 12th in the annual study that evaluated the nation's most innovative companies with the best business-technology strategies, investments and processes. The award recognized ABM's corporate application service provider (ASP) solution, which delivers low-cost, homogeneous desktop computing management services to thousands of employees across the country, as an innovative differentiator.

Following the selection process conducted by a panel of industry experts and InformationWeek editors, ABM was rated in the top three percent of all submitted entries.
