Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers -FAMB- Expands Efforts to Educate Broker Industry in 2005

PALM COAST, Fla. -- FAMB's Board of Directors met this weekend to set plans for the coming year, including broker and consumer education and goals regarding simplification of the Mortgage Process. FAMB, through its Foundation and its close alliances with the State of Florida - offers free comprehensive mortgage broker and loan originator education to its Industry members. This education creates better qualified members which ultimately benefits Florida's consumers. At the meeting, plans were set for monthly education events which qualify FAMB's members for compliance with Florida's Continuing Education Law, at no cost to the member. Goals were also set for Government Affairs and Member Retention.

Founded in 1960, the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers is the nation's oldest and largest professional Mortgage Brokers Association. We represent almost 50,000 Mortgage Industry Professionals and have members all over Florida. In the past year membership increased by almost 50%.
