HOUSTON -- Most Recent Order Highlights Global Hospitality Market Demand for Eagle's Advanced Set-Top Box Technology

Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX:EAG), a leading provider of broadband and communications technology and services, announced today that the company has received its first international order for the company's advanced Media Pro set-top box technology for deployment with General Dynamics Interactive's Intrigue(R) Multimedia System at the world-class InterContinental Singapore hotel.

This is the most recent order placed by General Dynamics Interactive (GDI), a business area of General Dynamics C4 Systems. GDI is a leading provider of interactive in-room digital entertainment and information systems to the hospitality industry. The InterContinental Singapore project was secured with Entertainment Media and Telecoms (EMT) Corporation Ltd., a leading provider of Digital Services Delivery Systems for the Hospitality sector. EMT distributes the Intrigue system as a channel partner of General Dynamics C4 Systems.

The order demonstrates growing demand from international hospitality customers for Eagle's advanced IP set-top box technology.

EMT is using Eagle's Media-Pro set-top box technology with the Intrigue(R) multimedia in-room entertainment and information system to deliver a range of interactive guest services including true digital movies and music-on-demand with DVD functionality, high-speed Internet access, an interactive television guide, electronic concierge services, on-line shopping, video checkout, and other revenue generating guest services. The new system delivers exciting new services for hotel guests providing an exceptional in-room entertainment experience.
