Falcon Gas Storage Company President Issues Statement
Business Wire, Oct 13, 2004
HOUSTON -- Falcon Gas Storage Company Inc. (FGSCI) President John M. Hopper today issued the following clarification to correct any misconceptions in the energy and financial markets that may have resulted from recent Falcon Natural Gas Corp. (OTCBB:FNGC) press releases.
"Falcon Natural Gas Corp. (FNGC) has issued a number of press releases over the last several months, most recently announcing the completion of a $1.5 million private placement, that have caused considerable confusion about who FNGC is. I want to emphasize to the energy and financial markets that Falcon Gas Storage Company Inc. (FGSCI) is in no way related to FNGC.
"Falcon Gas Storage Company (FGSCI) is the largest privately owned natural gas storage company in the United States. We develop, own and operate natural gas storage facilities in four states. Falcon Natural Gas Corp. (FNGC) is a start-up company traded on the over-the-counter bulletin board public stock exchange. FNGC's most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission says: 'Falcon Natural Gas Corp. ('the Company') was incorporated in Nevada as Countryside Review Inc. ('Countryside') on December 7, 2001. The Company's business plan was to develop an on-line equestrian lifestyle magazine for the amateur rider and horse owner ... which the Company discontinued... As a result of the acquisition of Falcon Natural Gas Corporation (hereinafter 'Falcon') ... and the change in business focus, the Company changed its name from Countryside Review Inc. to Falcon Natural Gas Corp. and is now engaged in natural gas exploration activities in the State of Texas. The Company ... has not realized any revenues from its planned operations and is in its exploration stage.'
"FGSCI has contacted FNGC on several occasions and requested that FNGC refrain from using the names 'Falcon' or 'Falcon Gas' in its press releases and in its Web address because of the confusion it has caused in the marketplace concerning the identity of the two companies. Hopefully FNGC will do so, as this ongoing confusion does not serve the interests of either company."
